First of all, we’ve missed you! These past 5 months have been very challenging for everyone and we want to thank you for continued support of NEECOM – The New England E-Commerce Users Group. Here are some updates that we would like to share with you.
First!
In order for all of us to catch up with each other and to see our friends and colleagues from NEECOM via Zoom, later this month NEECOM will be hosting two Virtual Zoom Cocktail Hours on Wednesday August 26th and Thursday August 27th from 4:00pm EDT until 5:30pm EDT each day. Please join us as it’s been too long!

NEECOM’s 30th Anniversary Fall Conference (1990-2020) has been moved to an All Virtual Event on October 21st and 22nd, 2020. Details are still being pulled together but we are planning just a couple of hours each day of speakers, important information and of course, virtual cheesecake! There will be no charge for this event and any paid corporate memberships for 2020 will automatically be extended through the end of 2021.
NEECOM has been closely monitoring the advice of health authorities at the city, state, and federal levels and, recently updated guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the current spread of COVID-19.
We have been notified by the Doubletree Hotel that our Fall Conference cannot be held at their location because we will exceed the maximum numbers of people that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts guidelines allow at this time.
We are committed to protecting the health and safety of our attendees and community. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We strongly believe that actions taken now will have the greatest chance of decreasing risk for all those we serve.
We look forward to having you join us on either August 26th or 27th for or Virtual Cocktail Hour and also on October 21st and 22nd for our Virtual Fall Conference as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary year (1990-2020).
