Hitesh Baraiya, Lead Solutions Architect, SEEBURGER
EDI has been around for more than 30 years as a way to exchange documents such as orders, invoices and delivery notes electronically. Since EDI as a technology still works well, for many companies there is an understandable approach – if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it – to data exchange. But is there more to EDI today? In this session, Hitesh will explore the many ways B2B/EDI technology has evolved with cutting-edge technologies such as API, AI, partner onboarding automation and more, and how this type of modernization can have positive impact on your business.

Rob Gonzalez, CMO & Co-Founder, Salsify, Inc.
Description: Consumers now build connections with your brand through omnichannel shopping experiences, and these interactions must be engaging and consistent at every stage of the buying journey. Major retailers like Kroger, Walmart, Amazon, The Home Depot, Carrefour, Tesco, Metro, Woolworth’s Australia, and others have moved towards combining supply chain data and product experience data into integrated feeds. This topic will talk through the changing landscape of marketing facing brand manufacturers, and how that landscape has forced product data management companies to evolve.

3:00 The Art and Science of Visualizing Your Data
Jim Lewis, Founder & CEO, Enhanced Retail Solutions
Data exists for many aspects and levels of your business. For example, your customers, service providers and your internal systems provide data. The problem is they each only show a specific slice of your business. To get the most out of the data, you need to aggregate it, choose a visualization platform, and connect the dots. This presentation will follow a real-world case where a manufacturer wanted to merge their brick & mortar, online and drop ship data to gain greater visibility throughout the business. Using Microsoft’s PowerBI, we will show how to track performance, forecast demand, decrease stock-outs and find opportunities that would otherwise go unnoticed.
